The Russian Government has been instructed to review the main principles for developing new national projects, approaches to forming a system to manage these projects and determine mechanisms to co-finance them taking into account the specifics of each national project. These materials will be presented to the Presidential Executive Office and the State Council commissions for socioeconomic development for examination during a joint meeting of the State Council and the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, which will be attended by senior regional officials.
The Russian Government, together with Roscosmos State Corporation and Rosatom State Corporation, has been instructed to decide on the allocation of funds from the federal budget to implement measures envisaged by the Development of Russian Space Nuclear Energy federal project, starting in 2024. The focus will be on developing the existing scientific and technical groundwork in the field of space nuclear energy.
Additionally, the Government has been instructed to provide proposals on the long-term development of civil shipbuilding, including the updated long-term plan for the construction of civil vessels for the period until 2035, a detailed scheme for expanding production capacities of organisations engaged in the construction and repair of vessels in accordance with the long-term plan, proposals for measures to ensure the competitiveness of vessels built at Russian shipyards, and proposals for the creation of long-term financing instruments for the supply of civil vessels, ensuring they are available to consumers.
