The law introduces amendments to the legislative acts of the Russian Federation governing relations in the sphere of state environmental monitoring.
The most significant amendments have been made to the Federal Law On Environmental Protection, the basic law governing relevant amendments.
The federal law also introduces amendments to the Land Code of the Russian Federation, the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and federal laws On Fauna, On Specially Protected Natural Areas, On the Use of Nuclear Energy and other legislative acts of the Russian Federation.
