The law aims at ensuring the implementation of the Russian Federation’s international agreements on extradition for criminal prosecution of foreign citizens and stateless persons without personal identity documents, whose extradition to a foreign country has been approved by the Russian Federation Prosecutor General’s Office, or whose extradition to Russia to serve their sentence on the territory of the Russian Federation has been requested.
