The Federal Law amends legislative acts of the Russian Federation concerning, in part, countering corruption.
In particular, the Federal Law stipulates the following:
Expanding prohibitions, restrictions and requirements established with the aim of countering corruption to the heads of municipalities and deputies within representative municipal representative bodies.
Liability in the form of early termination from office for a Federation Council member, State Duma deputy or deputy of a legislative (representative) body of a Russian region for failure or delay in submitting evidence of income, expenditures, property, and assets and liability of a material nature, as well as the income, expenditures, property, and assets and liability of a material nature of their spouse and minor children.
