The Federal Law regulates the legal foundations for the Federal Security Service’s use of military equipment, weapons, special means and physical force, including procedures and cases for their application.
In particular, the Federal Law establishes the grounds for entry by Federal Security Service’s military agencies into residential and other premises, land plots and territories, as well as these service members’ obligations with regard to such entry. The law also prohibits personnel of the Federal Security Service and Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, their spouses and underage children from opening and holding accounts, storing cash and valuables in foreign banks located outside of Russia, own and/or use foreign financial instruments outside of use for the purposes of solving operational, service or intelligence tasks.
