In particular, the amendments to the Administrative Offences Code add provisions making it possible to bring administrative charges against legal entities for actions that violate Article 19.28 of the Code (illegal gratification on behalf of a legal entity) if these activities take place outside Russia and seek to harm Russia’s interests, and in cases covered by international agreements if the legal entity in question has not had criminal or administrative charges brought against them in a foreign country. In this case, foreign legal entities are subject to administrative liability on a common basis.
