The Federal Law aims to guarantee national and public security and protect human and civil rights and freedoms.
The Federal Law sets out the basic principles for the National Guards’ organisation and activity and defines their composition.
It sets the National Guards’ tasks and powers, the rights and obligations of its service personnel and employees, and their social and legal protection provisions, and also regulates the National Guards’ financial and logistics’ support.
The Law also sets out specific provisions concerning the trade and circulation of arms through January 1, 2019.
