The Federal Law aims to improve the system of support for socially oriented non-profit organisations.
Under the Federal Law, if a Russian region or municipal authority adopts a decision to provide financial support to a socially oriented non-profit in the form of subsidies or property support, this support shall be provided for at least two years.
The Federal Law also extends the list of possible measures of information support for socially oriented non-profit organisations, as well as assistance in training and providing advanced professional training to their personnel.
