The Protocol amending the Treaty on Establishing the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund of June 9, 2009 and the Protocol amending the Agreement on Managing EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund Finances of June 9, 2009 were signed in Dushanbe on June 15, 2015.
According to the amendments, the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund will be renamed the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development (EFSD).
Part of the fund’s net profit will be used to provide grants to its low income member states for funding state social programmes. No more than 10 percent of the fund’s annual profit will be allocated for this purpose.
