The federal law determines the procedure to restrict access to information that expresses clear contempt for society, the state, official state symbols of the Russian Federation, the Russian Constitution and bodies of state authority in the Russian Federation in any obscene form that insults human dignity and public morals.
The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and his deputies are given the right to file a request with a responsible federal executive body to take steps to delete such information and restrict access to information resources spreading such information in case it is not deleted.
