For the further implementation of the Russian state policy related to the distribution of narcotic drugs, psychoactive substances and their precursors and counteracting their trafficking, the President approved the State Antidrug Policy Strategy until 2030. The state antidrug policy is aimed at protecting people’s health and ensuring state and public security.
The strategy contains an analysis of the situation with drug distribution in the Russian Federation and of the threats to national security related to drug trafficking. It also outlines the strategic goals and objectives of the antidrug policy, as well as the mechanisms of its implementation and the expected results.
