The Agreement was signed in Moscow on May 29, 2020.
It is based on the need to join efforts to ensure guaranteed and effective functioning of communications systems as vital components of the technical basis of command in the armed forces of member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The creation of a joint (combined) communications system of the armed forces of the CIS member states under the Agreement will facilitate the development of interaction between the armed forces of states parties to the Agreement.
