For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the brigade’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 165th Artillery Brigade.
From now on, it will be referred to as the 165th Guards Artillery Brigade.
