The Federal Law rests on the basic version of the socioeconomic development forecast for the Russian Federation for 2024 and the 2025–2026 planning period.
The main parameters of the federal budget for 2024 were set based on a projected gross domestic product of 179.956 trillion rubles and an inflation rate not exceeding 4.5 percent. The projected total federal budget revenue is 35.065 trillion rubles, expenditures are 36.66 trillion rubles, with a deficit of 1.595 trillion rubles.
