For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the102nd Motor Rifle Slonim-Pomeranian Red Banner Order of Suvorov and Kutuzov Regiment, which shall henceforth be referred to as the 102nd Guards Motor Rifle Slonim-Pomeranian Red Banner Order of Suvorov and Kutuzov Regiment.
