The Federal Law defines the procedure for establishing the Russian Sport Fund and sets forth its legal status, while also describing its objectives, functions and mandate, along with the management framework for the fund.
In accordance with the Federal Law, the fund’s mission is to provide additional financial support of activity in the sphere of sports and physical fitness, including promotion of adaptive exercise practices, adaptive sports, sports rehabilitation and habilitation for people with disabilities, youth sports, mass sports, implementation of international sports and fitness initiatives, sports events in new formats, and development of domestic sports products.
