The Executive Order introduces simplified rules for Moldovan citizens entering the Russian Federation for employment purposes. In particular, provided they undergo fingerprinting and medical examinations, they will not be required to purchase a work permit (patent) until October of next year.
The document’s provisions do not apply to individuals who have committed crimes, violated border regulations, pose a threat to the national security of the Russian Federation, or have committed administrative offences related to the illegal circulation of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
