In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation and the Federal Law On Citizenship of the Russian Federation, the President has ordered the approval of the Regulations on the Temporary Procedure for Granting Citizenship of the Russian Federation to Certain Categories of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons, as well as the Regulations on the Temporary Procedure for Issuing Residence Permits in the Russian Federation to Certain Categories of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons.
The Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Natural Disaster Relief, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, have been instructed to approve the forms of certificates confirming that foreign citizens and stateless persons have served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or in the military rescue units of the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Natural Disaster Relief during the special military operation, as well as the procedure for issuing such certificates.
