Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of India on the Procedure Governing the Movement of Military Formations, Warships, and Military Aircraft of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India and Military Formations, Warships, and Military Aircraft of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation, and Organising Their Mutual Logistics Support.
The Agreement was signed in Moscow on February 18, 2025.
The purpose of the Agreement is to define the procedure for the deployment of military formations, port calls by warships, and the use of airspace and airfield infrastructure by military aircraft of the Parties. It further provides for organising the logistics support for these military formations, warships, military aircraft, and other equipment of the Parties.
