To strengthen national unity, peace and harmony among the peoples of the Russian Federation, the President resolved to declare 2026 the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
Corresponding instructions have been issued to the Russian Government.
First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko and Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova have been appointed co-chairs of the organising committee for the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
Executive authorities of Russian constituent entities are advised to implement the necessary activities as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
