Vladimir Putin signed Federal Constitutional Law On Amendment of Article 7 of the Federal Constitutional Law On Courts Martial of the Russian Federation.

The Federal Constitutional Law provides that the cases of crimes committed by stateless persons during their military service shall be referred to the jurisdiction of courts martial of the Russian Federation. Such amendment to the legislation is caused by the adoption of Federal Law No. 212-FZ of July 7, 2025, On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation, granting stateless persons the right to enter into contracts on military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and military units.
