The federal law ratifies the Protocol on Amendments to the Convention on Legal Aid and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases of January 22, 1993, signed on behalf of the Russian Federation on May 13, 2025.
The protocol is intended to recognise court orders for the collection of support for underage children in the territory of the signatories.

The Convention is an international treaty signed within the Commonwealth of Independent States to ensure reliable legal protection for the personal, property and non-property rights of the citizens of the signatory states and other persons residing in their territory.
