The Promotional Framework for Occupational Health and Safety Convention (No. 187) was adopted by the International Labour Organisation General Conference at its 95th session on June 15, 2006.
Russia’s occupational health and safety management system is in line with the convention’s provisions.
Analysis of the Russian laws shows that Russian legislation, including its Labour Code, is fully in compliance with the provisions of Convention 187.
Ratification of Convention 187 will not entail any additional federal budget expense and its provisions can be adopted without amending the country’s applicable laws.
