Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov met with Head of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China Wang Qishan.

Mr Ivanov Ivanov Sergei Ivanov SergeiSpecial Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport noted that Russia and China’s bilateral trade is growing, despite the current global economic difficulties. Mr Ivanov gave a high assessment of Mr Wang’s work in the intergovernmental commissions on trade and the economy and on energy sector cooperation, and his personal contribution to strengthening bilateral ties.

Mr Wang noted that the two countries’ bilateral relations have deepened in all areas, in particular through cooperation between the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee and Russia’s Presidential Executive Office.
