The Federal Law ratifies the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan on the Russian-Kyrgyzstani Development Fund, signed on November 24, 2014, in Bishkek.
The Agreement envisages the establishment of the Russian-Kyrgyzstani Development Fund to promote economic
cooperation between the two states, modernisation and development of Kyrgyzstan’s economy and the efficient use of the opportunities created by the participation of Russia and Kyrgyzstan in Eurasian economic integration.
The Fund is to finance stand-alone projects in priority sectors of Kyrgyzstan’s economy by means of loans, equity participation and other financial instruments.
