The discussion focused on key aspects of Russian-Kuwaiti cooperation and pressing international issues.
Following their talks, the two heads of state attended the signing of a package of documents. These include an intergovernmental agreement on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports, and memorandums on cooperation in culture and the arts and in transportation, of intent in military technical cooperation and on mutual understanding between Gazprom and the Kuwaiti Oil Corporation. The package also includes an agreement between the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the Kuwaiti Investment Agency on increasing direct investment in Russia.
