As they discussed the results of the 4th International Meeting on Syria, which was held in Astana on May 3–4, the presidents expressed satisfaction with the adoption of a Memorandum on establishing de-escalation zones. They noted that its implementation by all sides would strengthen the ceasefire, improve the humanitarian situation, and on the whole promote the political settlement of the Syria crisis.
