Vladimir Putin took part in the CSTO
Collective Security Council session. Its agenda included key international and regional issues, as well as matters related to the further expansion of cooperation
between the CSTO member states. Following the session, a set of documents was
approved, among them the joint declaration on collective security, signed by the heads of the CSTO member states’ delegations.
After this, the President visited Petropavlovsk,
where he took part in the 15th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional
Cooperation Forum. Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev also held a separate
discussion before the beginning of the forum’s plenary session and visited an exhibition dedicated to promising joint programmes in the sphere of tourism.
The two leaders also inspected the work of the Schoolchildren’s Palace.
