Laws on ratification of agreements with some states on reciprocal travel by citizens

Dmitry Medvedev signed a number of laws ratifying agreements with foreign states on reciprocal travel by citizens.

Federal Law On Ratification of Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on Reciprocal Travel by Citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Croatia.

The Agreement was signed in Moscow on March 2, 2010. The Agreement stipulates establishing on the Croatian side’s initiative, visa procedures for reciprocal travel by Russian and Croatian citizens as well as defining categories of citizens that will be subject to a visa-free regime.

Federal Law On Ratification of Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of India on Simplifying Conditions for Reciprocal Travel by Certain Categories of the Two Nations’ Citizens.

The Agreement was signed in New Delhi on December 21, 2010. The Agreement stipulates establishing a more favourable regime for reciprocal travel by some categories of Russian and Indian citizens.

Federal Law On Ratification of Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kingdom of Norway on Simplifying Reciprocal Travel Procedures for Residents of Border Regions in the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Norway.

The Agreement was signed in Oslo on November 2, 2010. The Agreement determines the range of persons subject to its impact, and establishes processing times for documents necessary for reciprocal travel by residents of border regions, as well as the procedures for this type of travel. In addition, the Agreement determines the rights and obligations of border region residents while traveling to the territory of the neighbouring state.

Federal Law On Ratification of Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Korea on Temporary Work Activities by Citizens of One State on the Territory of the Other State.

The Agreement was signed in Seoul on November 10, 2010. The Agreement defines the categories of persons subject to its provisions and conditions for prolonging the duration of travel aimed at the fulfilment of work activities and other formalities.
