In his message of congratulations, the President of Russia noted remarkable progress that Uzbekistan has achieved in social and economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as the republic’s weight on the global arena.
“The relations between our states, based on good traditions of friendship and mutual respect, have been actively developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance,” Mr Putin emphasised. The President expressed confidence that Moscow and Tashkent will continue further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas, and will efficiently coordinate efforts to solve pressing issues on the international agenda, which meets vital interests of the Russian and Uzbekistani nations and is in line with the policy of providing regional stability and security.
