The 3D panorama depicts Berlin during the last days of the storming of the Reichstag, guiding the visitors in the footsteps of the unit under the command of Lieutenant Semyon Sorokin and disclosing little known facts about the heroic feat of the Red Army banner bearers.
The pavilion is divided into several zones. One of them depicts the square in front of the Reichstag with a precise reconstruction of every minute detail, including the figures of the storming group and equipment. It also shows fragments of the Reichstag façade with bullet holes and writing on the columns left by Soviet soldiers.
The project was implemented ahead of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and is a logical extension of the Breakthrough 3D panorama at the memorial in Kirovsk, Leningrad Region, dedicated to breaking the Leningrad siege.
