The Federal Law amends the Federal Law On Days of Military Glory and Commemorative Dates in Russia, declaring May 12 the Day of Victorious Completion of the Crimean Offensive by Soviet Troops (1944).
The new day of military glory will help foster the spirit of patriotism and respect for the history of the Fatherland among citizens of the Russian Federation.
