The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to develop proposals on measures for the socioeconomic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of federal significance Sevastopol for the period until 2025 that would be funded from the federal budget.
Instructions for the Government also concern the operation of medical organisations in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol as well as subsidising passenger air travel to Simferopol.
The Government jointly with the Defence Ministry were instructed to fulfil the Presidential Executive Order of March 22, 2018 on providing housing to certain categories of Russian citizens living in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, and to allocate funds from the federal budget to cover the respective expenses.
The Government and the executive bodies of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol received instructions regarding the development of wholesale trade of food products in these entities, as well as the use of the Mezhgornoye Reservoir for compensating for the shortage of water resources in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, and the construction of vessels aimed at developing tourism and transportation on the Crimean Peninsula.
