The Federal Law seeks to improve protection of the rights of persons insured by the compulsory pension insurance system and to ensure Russia’s financial stability in the face of unfriendly actions by foreign states.
In particular, the Federal Law amends the Federal Law On Measures (Countermeasures) in Response to Unfriendly Actions of the United States of America and Other Foreign States, to specify the powers of the President of the Russian Federation with respect to taking temporary economic measures ensuring the financial stability of the Russian Federation.
