The main theme of the forum’s events, organised by St Petersburg State University and Seoul’s Koryo University, was Alliance between Russia and the Republic of Korea in Modernisation and Innovation.
Later, Mr Medvedev held talks with President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak, discussing current economic and innovation-sector cooperation, humanitarian ties, and implementation of major joint projects.
The first Russia-Republic of Korea Dialogue forum took place in November 2010 in Seoul and coincided with the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and South Korea.
