The conversation focused on the hospital’s status, the opportunities to disseminate therapies developed here, training, benefits, and the rehabilitation and education of children with disabilities.
Children's Neuropsychiatric Hospital No 18 was built in 1983 to cater for children with disabilities. Young patients with cerebral palsy and spine and spinal cord injuries undergo therapy and surgical treatment, as well as rehabilitation here. Each year the hospital, which comprises eight specialised medical facilities, treats more than 3,000 children.
