The Federal Law addresses a number of issues related to the preparation for and holding of the 2018 Football World Cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
The Federal Law envisages the introduction of a personal spectator card and details its use.
Specifically, the Federal Law contains provisions enabling foreign citizens or stateless persons taking part in the relevant events or included on FIFA lists as competition participants to enter and exit Russian territory.
The Federal Law also provides for medical assistance to participants in the competitions, as well as other event participants and spectators.
Furthermore, the law specifies transport services during sports competitions. Specifically, spectators, volunteers and persons on FIFA lists will be able to use various means of transport along routes related to sports competitions free of charge.
