The Federal Law expands the authority of certain federal executive bodies with respect to countering the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles, submersed and surface vessels, driverless vehicles and other automated unmanned systems, including by suppressing or altering remote control signals to unmanned systems, affecting their controls, and damaging or destroying the above vehicle systems.
Intercepting unmanned vehicle systems is necessary to protect citizens, ensure the security of important government facilities, including critically important, potentially hazardous and other facilities.
The Federal Law sets forth a decision-making procedure for intercepting unmanned vehicle systems.
