The meeting will discuss the results of the work and the public discussions on the new concept for teaching Russian history and its implementation in order to develop a common approach to the history curriculum taught in schools, universities and continuous education establishments, and also with regard to textbooks.
Taking part in the meeting will be State Duma Speaker and Chairman of the Russian Historical Society Sergei Naryshkin, Presidential Aide Andrei Fursenko, Education Minister Dmitry Livanov, Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky and representatives of the academic, education and expert communities.
