The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Presidential Executive Office, have been instructed to consider the questions of using state symbols of the Russian Federation in state and municipal general education institutions and covering the corresponding expenses.
The instructions issued to the Government also relate to declaring 2023 the Year of Teachers and Mentors in Russia; allocating budget funds for holding the ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competencies and supporting other national professional excellence competitions; allocating funding for the operation of 24 existing Russia–My History parks, as well as creating new history parks as part of the Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation federal project.
In addition, the instructions issued to the Government deal with updating the Concept for Developing Psychological Counselling in Education until 2025 and implementing it; creating a digital platform for providing counselling support to minors and their parents; upgrading recreational and health-improving opportunities for the young; ensuring favourable conditions for organising recreational and health-improving activities.
The Government has also been instructed to draft a plan of initiatives for preparing and holding, in 2023, celebrations marking the 200th birthday of Konstantin Ushinsky, the founding father of scientific pedagogy.
Instructions to the Ministry of Education deal with including educational programmes offering creative competences, skills and qualifications into the curriculum of secondary vocational training schools; improving the qualification of teachers tasked with tutorial work within general education and vocational training institutions; enabling students, their parents and the faculty to participate in shaping the design and other project solutions during major repairs at general education institutions and school infrastructure development.
Instructions to the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) and the Ministry of Education and regional executive bodies, deal with work to improve school meals.
