Vladimir Putin met with permanent members of the Security Council.

Meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.

The discussion focused on the increased tensions around Syria and Turkey’s aggressive and unpredictable action.

There was also an exchange of views on the domestic agenda. In particular, Mr Putin announced that he has signed executive orders on improving the Federal Penitentiary Service’s work.
