In particular, Mr Yevkurov informed the President about an increase in the region’s gross regional product and budget revenue, substantial investment growth and construction of major new sites in the republic, positive results in the agriculture sector, and a drop in the unemployment rate. Crime in Ingushetia was also down by 7.4 percent, and the number of terrorism-related crimes was down by half.
Mr Yevkurov said that Ingushetia’s biggest problems today are in the education and health sectors.
