In Vladivostok, Vladimir Putin took
part in the first Eastern Economic Forum, following which a package of documents was signed on the implementation of investment projects in the Far
East. On the forum’s sidelines, the President met with oil and gas sector
workers and Vice Premier of the Chinese State Council Wang Yang. Following the forum, the Russian President answered journalists’ questions.
Also, within the framework of the trip to Primorye,
Vladimir Putin heard reports from Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir
Puchkov and Primorye Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky on the situation in Ussuriysk that was hit by floods, and also visited the Primorye Oceanarium
science and education centre that is being built on Russky Island.
