In order to rule out damaging or destroying cultural heritage sites and conducting business activities on their grounds, which run counter to the requirements for ensuring the safety of such sites, the Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to draw up separate amendments to legislation.
The instructions to the Government relate, in particular, to the requirements for skills and experience of persons carrying out work to preserve cultural heritage sites, taking into account their historical and cultural significance; developing all necessary national standards for the preservation of cultural heritage sites; and connecting a unified state register of cultural heritage sites (historical and cultural monuments) of the peoples of Russia to a unified interdepartmental electronic system to transition the provision of state and municipal services in this area to electronic form.
Separate instructions were given to the Ministry of Culture and the Accounts Chamber.
