The Presidential Administrative Directorate, the Federal Guard Service and the Russian Academy of Sciences have been instructed to look into the possibility of increasing the area of excavations in the Grand Kremlin Public Garden beyond the building of the prikazes, Russia’s main executive authorities in the 17th century, found during the excavations, as well as starting excavations in the area of the Kremlin between the Grand Kremlin Palace and the Twelve Apostles’ Church.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Russian Academy of Sciences are to study the matter of supplying the RAS Institute of Archaeology with modern archival and laboratory equipment for the digitisation and safe storage of the excavation documents, as well as for the analysis of the composition archaeological materials and manufacturing techniques.
The Ministry of Culture and the Russian Academy of Sciences are to consider the possibility of creating a series of popular science films about the archaeological studies of the historical and cultural landmarks dating back to the Middle Ages, in particular the Moscow Kremlin, Moscow and the cities of northeast Russia.
