State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Culture Alla Manilova chaired a meeting of the standing commission of the Presidential Council for Cossack Affairs on promoting the development of Cossack culture.
The meeting participants discussed the main areas of activity in fields related to Cossack culture in 2021, the implementation of the Presidential instruction to create the Central Museum of Russian Cossacks as part of the State Historical Museum, the creation of an electronic library of Cossackdom on the basis of the National Electronic Library, and other topics.
The event was attended by members of the Presidential Council for Cossack Affairs, representatives of the Government Executive Office, the Ministry of Culture, the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, executive bodies of the Russian regions, the All-Russian Cossack Society, the Russian Orthodox Church, culture professionals, and others.
Following the meeting, relevant decisions have been adopted.
