In order to provide social support for the citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic, and Ukraine as well as stateless persons who were forced to leave the territory of these states and arrived on the territory of the Russian Federation after February 18, 2022, various payments are to be made as of July 1, 2022. These payments include monthly pensions; monthly disability benefits; supplementary payments to annual pensions or monthly benefits to persons with Category I disability, disabled children as well as individuals over 80; a monthly payment to Great Patriotic War veterans; lump sum payments to pregnant women; lump sum payments on the birth of a child; monthly payments for children under 18, as well as those under 23 if they are enrolled full time at an educational institution; monthly payments to a single parent for each child.
The Executive Order specifies the amount of payments, and states that they shall be executed through December 31, 2022, by authorised executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Respective instructions have been issued to the Government of the Russian Federation.
The supreme executive bodies of the Russian Federation were instructed to ensure that citizens of the DPR, LPR and Ukraine and stateless persons who were forced to leave the territory of these states and arrived in Russia after February 18, 2022, can apply for such payments.
