During the talks, the leaders will discuss the current state and prospects for the development of strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan and exchange views on current regional issues.
Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the first meeting of the Council of the Regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following the results of the visit, the parties intend to sign a substantial package of bilateral documents.
