Dmitry Medvedev inspected helicopter technology and samples of aircraft weapons and special equipment at the disposal of the 4th Air Force Command and the Southern Military District’s air defence troops. In particular, the President was shown combat helicopters Mi-28N, Mi-24 and Ka-52 (Alligator), and a military transport helicopter Mi-8AMTSh.
After that, Dmitry Medvedev visited a new residential area Rainbow, where he took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Church of Martyr Demetrios of Thessaloniki.
The President completed his visit to Korenovsk with a tour of the Korenovsk Milk and Canning Factory, one of the largest and most advanced dairy enterprises in the Krasnodar Territory.
