Instructions for the Government concern the implementation of the investment and renovation programmes at the Vorkuta Thermal Power Plants.
The Energy Ministry of Russia jointly with the Government of the Komi Republic, Gazprom and the T Plus group of companies are to draft, approve and monitor the implementation of an action plan to ensure natural gas deliveries to the Vorkuta Boiler Station in time for the 2018–2019 heating season and to the Vorkuta-2 Thermal Power Plant for its conversion to natural gas in 2020.
The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service is to analyse the validity of coal prices for the company Vorkuta Thermal Power Plants.
The Government of the Komi Republic jointly with the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service are to analyse the possibility of adding an investment element to heat and electricity rates as well as gas transportation costs in order to accumulate funds for renovating and modernising the Komi energy system, bearing in mind the influence such decisions will have on the socioeconomic situation in the region.
